I liked it, and Penn was fantastic, but I thought its view of the gay lifestyle perpetuated a lot of its worst stereotypes - the entire sex thing was just kind of skeezy. It was fun, though, and the acting was pretty awesome on the whole (except for Brolin's drunk scene).

Penn's performance was brilliant and the co stars performed just as well.
